Job summary

NCR Atleos in Atlanta-area operations seeks a Field Service Technician I to install, service and repair self-checkout and ATM systems across Georgia. You’ll diagnose hardware and software issues, perform preventive maintenance, and deliver reliable service to major retailers and banks.

Training is provided, you’ll work with a supportive team, and travel within your territory will be required. Local candidates with a valid driver’s license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to the specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 19 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with suitable driving record.
• Ability to perform essential job functions including prolonged travel and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
• Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements.
