Job summary

NCR Atleos in Macon, GA is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform installations, maintenance, and service calls on electromechanical equipment including ATMs and self-checkout systems. You will diagnose hardware/software issues, manage network access, and travel as needed to support customers.

Ideal candidates are technically curious, mechanically inclined, and customer focused, with training provided and opportunities for growth within a global service team.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to the specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 19 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity.
• Ability to perform essential job functions including travel, rotating shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
• May travel to adjacent territories and participate in training programs as needed.
