Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking Field Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment including ATMs and self-checkout systems in the Hartford area. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues, while delivering excellent customer service and participating in training programs.

The role requires local presence, a valid US work authorization, a driver’s license, and the ability to travel and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to the Hartford, CT area.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with suitable driving record.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and OS familiarity.
• Ability to travel and work rotating/weekend shifts; lift up to 50 lbs; bend, squat, reach, and stand.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
• Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements.
• Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs.
• May be reassigned to adjacent service territories; travel follows company policy and reimbursement guidelines.
