Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to lead advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and field operations. Based mainly at a service center, you will travel to remote locations or production plants as needed, mentor junior technicians, and drive continuous improvement in repair workflows.

You will use specialized diagnostic tools for HV and LV systems, coordinate parts operations, and deliver thorough documentation and root-cause feedback to engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–8+ years automotive repair experience, with bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• 3–8+ years HV (high voltage) diagnostics and repair experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience (e.g., Team Lead, Mentor) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, continuous improvement mindset, and escalation management.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting to field teams.
• Coach, mentor and train junior technicians and cross-functional partners.
