Job summary

IEM is seeking a Field Service Technician Level III to perform advanced start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment. You will lead complex field service activities, mentor junior technicians, and coordinate with project managers and engineering to resolve high-priority issues.

The role requires independent work with limited supervision, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in power distribution systems preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of related electrical/field service experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of switchgear start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install, modify, inspect, and support electrical/ mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Lead or support complex field service activities and senior technical issues.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with customers, PMs, and internal teams.
• Analyze system failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
