Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned field technician to support U.S. Federal Government systems. You will perform on-site and remote upgrades, troubleshoot complex ASTRO configurations, and work closely with customers and cross-functional Motorola teams.

Strong networking, security, and AD administration skills are essential. The role requires 2+ years in IT/Networking, active U.S. citizenship, and the ability to travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain necessary security clearance.
• 2+ years of experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, radio frequency, or land mobile radio.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%–80% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot in an IT-type environment with good communication skills.
• Maintain documentation and weekly activity reports; ensure system performance.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, engineering, and support teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with security and certification requirements during deployments.
