Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring for a field/technical role supporting US Federal Government systems. You will perform on-site and remote upgrades, troubleshoot ASTRO systems, and apply cybersecurity and network knowledge across multiple core applications.

Travel up to 75%–80% and collaboration with customers and internal teams are required. Ideal candidates bring AD administration experience, networking, and comfort with complex engineering environments.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency, or LMR.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain required security clearance.
• Willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP within 12 months.
• Willing to travel up to 75–80% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Knowledge in networking, Cyber Security principles, Active Directory Administration, and LMR communications.
• Administer and troubleshoot ASTRO core applications such as UNC, PM, UEM, ESXi, IMW, KMF, HBSS, and PKI.
• Maintain and document complex communications systems with weekly activity reports.
• Travel internationally and domestically up to 75%–80%.
• Collaborate with customers and Motorola teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.
