Job summary

SEAL Analytical in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Service Engineering Manager to supervise and mentor service engineers and technicians, schedule repairs, and provide technical guidance on complex repairs and troubleshooting.

You will travel up to 75% (mostly Continental US with some international travel), read wiring diagrams and schematics, utilize CAD tools, and collaborate with engineering, sales and production to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical theory.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and operation manuals.
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Foreign language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervising and mentoring service engineers and technicians.
Scheduling in-house repairs and field service work and managing workloads.
Providing technical guidance on complex repairs and troubleshooting.
Performing complex repairs and troubleshooting.
Handling customer escalations and maintaining satisfaction.
Monitoring service quality, productivity, and response times.
Coordinating with customers to resolve service issues.
Managing inventory of tools, parts, and equipment.
Preparing performance reports, budgets, and service metrics.
Supporting training and performance evaluations.
Collaborating with engineering, sales, and production teams to improve service processes.
