Job summary

Waters Corporation seeks a Field Service Specialist II in the King of Prussia/Philadelphia area to provide technical service for LC, LC/MS and related Waters products across multiple laboratories worldwide.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, customer training, service reporting and inventory control with travel as needed. A science degree and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology or engineering or related science field
• Valid Driver's License in good standing required
• Understanding of scientific workflows and software systems (CDS, SDMS, LIM, ELN)
• Overnight travel as required, including international travel

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and support Waters' product suite (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, SEC-MALS, FFF-MALS, Informatics)
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers to ensure success
• Lead customer expectations, communicating work and follow-up plans
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality systems
• Deliver system-level training at customer sites
• Run service inventory according to Waters policies
• Issue field service reports documenting work performed
• Maintain knowledge of technology and customer needs
• Collaborate with Sales to identify future service opportunities
• Adhere to Health & Safety standards at all times
