Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries is seeking a Field Service Tech Master Journeyman to rotate on a 14/14 schedule, servicing customers and heavy equipment in the designated region. You will diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex systems with minimal supervision while maintaining customer relations.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience, ability to train others, and willingness to travel as needed, including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 years in construction/mining machinery industry.
• GED or High School Diploma; related certifications preferred.
• Strong ability to diagnose and repair heavy equipment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, services and repairs heavy equipment systems.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Repairs track drive components and hydraulic systems.
• Service drives and axles with air or electric shift.
• Tunes engines, adjusts fuel systems, and checks performance.
• Disassembles, repairs and reassembles units across subsystems.
• Documents work completed and ensures safety and quality.
• Travel and stay overnight as required; train lower-level workers.
• Maintain client relations and promote company welfare.
