Job summary
Waukesha Pearce Industries, LLC is seeking an experienced Field Technician – Journeyman to lead and train technicians while performing assigned engine service jobs. You will plan work with the Regional Field Service Manager, ensure availability of parts and tools, and communicate progress to customers daily.
The role requires reading schematics and blueprints, performing service bulletins, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years working on Industrial Engines (gas/diesel).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Has attended and passed the OEM Engine Specification and Design course or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead and train other technicians.
- Plan jobs with Regional Field Service Manager for parts, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate progress to customers and document daily service tickets.
- Follow safety HFSE requirements and complete JSA.
- Read schematics and blueprints to determine best procedures.
- Perform GEW Service Bulletin upgrades as set by factory.
- Inspect own work and maintain quality control.
- Ensure proper paperwork and turn in warranty items after job completion.
