Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries in Odessa, TX is seeking a Field Compressor Journeyman to join our team on a 14/14 rotation. You will service natural gas engines and compressors, lead and train technicians, and coordinate daily job assignments for the Odessa/Midland area.

You will read schematics, select optimal procedures for safety and efficiency, and ensure all paperwork and inspection forms are completed to OEM standards. A valid driver license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of gas compressor experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver license and driving record compliant with company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks with minimal supervision per OEM standards.
• Develop other technicians and lead the crew.
• Read schematics, blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Determine best procedures to perform jobs safely and effectively.
• Complete required service reports and maintenance forms.
