Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries seeks a Field Technician - Master Journeyman in Broussard, LA to supervise and train technicians while performing industrial engine service. You will plan jobs with the Regional Field Service Manager, communicate progress to customers, and ensure all safety and JSA/HSE requirements are met.

You will also document daily service tickets, manage warranty parts, and lead by example in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' working on Industrial Engines (gas/diesel, etc.).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Has attended and passed the OEM Engine Specification and Design course or equivalent, relevant experience.
Must have a valid driver license and have a driving record that complies with WPI insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
Develop other technicians on the team.
Read schematics, blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications.
Determine the best procedure to perform job safely and effectively.
Perform GEW Service Bulletin upgrades as set by factory.
Inspect own work for tolerances and fit.
Complete required paperwork including labor reporting and quality control documentation.
Maintain safe work practices and high housekeeping standards.
Perform Preventative Maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Coordinate LO/TO and briefing with crew.
