Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries seeks a Field Service Tech Master Journeyman to service customers in a designated region on a 14/14 rotation. You will diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment with minimal supervision, schedule work, monitor quality, and maintain customer relations.

The role requires 6+ years in construction/mining equipment, a GED or high school diploma, and ability to travel. You will demonstrate advanced electrical skills and provide training to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction and mining machinery.
• GED or High School Diploma; relevant certifications preferred.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, services and repairs heavy equipment systems including mechanical, electronic, transmissions and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Overhauls engines and replaces components as required.
• Completes documentation for work performed without supervision.
• Travel and stay overnight to service customer sites.
• Promotes safety and maintains professional appearance and environment.
