Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries (WPI) is seeking a Lead Technician to train and supervise technicians while performing assigned industrial engine service tasks. You will plan jobs with the Regional Field Service Manager, ensure parts/tools are correct, and communicate progress to customers.

You must adhere to safety procedures, complete detailed reports, and maintain high workmanship standards. Ideal candidates have 4+ years on industrial engines, a high school diploma, and OEM engine course

Qualifications

• 4+ years working on Industrial Engines (gas/diesel) required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Attended and passed OEM Engine Specification and Design course or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver license with driving record compliant with WPI insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train other technicians.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Read schematics, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Determine safe, effective procedures for jobs.
• Complete required paperwork (labor reporting, QC, material movement).
• Ensure safe work practices and follow JSA/HSE requirements.
