Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead the Field Service Department in the Garland area. You will supervise technicians and installers, coordinate quotes and schedules, ensure on-site performance, and provide hands-on technical support for wireless communications equipment across UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz systems.

The role involves teamwork with customers, product vendors, and senior management. Travel and on-call duties are required, with emphasis on safety and training development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in technical management in wireless industry.
• Experience developing and directing new business opportunities.
• Knowledge of vendor resources and complex project implementations.
• P&L responsibility and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations in Field Service Department.
• Manage a technician team and liaise with Motorola and customers.
• Prepare quotes, bids, and schedules for installation/repair tasks.
• Organize upcoming field work and provide on-site technical support.
• Install and service wireless equipment and perform FATPs.
• Travel up to 25% and be on-call as needed.
• Ensure safety standards and mentoring of staff.
