Job summary
Usherwood Office Technology in Agawam, MA is seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to lead a growing team of technicians delivering installation, maintenance, and repair of office technology across eastern NY and New England.
You will mentor staff, monitor performance metrics, hire and onboard new technicians, and coordinate with sales, administration, and warehouse teams to ensure top-quality service and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years leading field service teams in office technology or imaging.
- Proven track record of managing field technicians.
- Strong technical knowledge of copiers, printers, MFPs, and connectivity.
- Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of field service technicians.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive customer satisfaction.
- Hire onboarding and develop new technicians.
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- Manage parts inventory, fleet, and tools.
- Escalate complex technical or customer issues.
- Collaborate with sales, administration, and warehouse teams.
- Ensure safety standards and manufacturer certifications.
