Job summary

KLA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site support for complex capital equipment at customer sites, including diagnostics, repair, and PM activities. You will interact with installation teams, applications engineers, and customers to minimize downtime and ensure service quality.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills in electro-mechanical systems, optics, and networking, with a customer-focused mindset and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 0 years related work experience. Military technical experience considered.
• Customer service activities including updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites and trade shows.
• Provide field service for Micron Technology project in Boise, ID, with focus on tool repair, customer management, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support for a variety of advanced KLA products; be the primary focal point for all customer service-related issues.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers, CSEs, applications engineers, technical support and sales teams.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems at customer sites to ensure production uptime.
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance schedule on KLA tools at customer sites and execute PMs.
• Prepare Field Service Reports and documentation for recurring problems in CRM.
• Cross-train and assist other field service engineers as needed.
