Job summary

KLA is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to support and repair advanced capital equipment at customer sites, including at trade shows. You will ensure high customer satisfaction, manage PM schedules, and contribute to diagnostics and on-site repairs with a strong emphasis on safe, reliable operations.

This role requires problem-solving across software, electronics, optics, and electro-mechanical systems, plus effective communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent and 0 years related work experience. Will also consider military technical experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
• Ability to coordinate with customers, installation teams and service engineers to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support for a variety of advanced KLA products.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, field engineers, applications engineers and sales teams.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems at customer sites to keep production running smoothly.
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance schedules on KLA tools at customer sites and perform PMs as scheduled.
• Prepare Field Service Reports and create service reports for service requests in the CRM database.
