Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a senior field service engineer to ensure rotating equipment and control systems operate at peak performance for customers, with travel up to 60% and strict safety standards. You will troubleshoot, repair, and commission equipment, train customers, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement robust solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 6+ years of field service experience, including 4+ years with rotating equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• 6+ years field service engineering experience, incl. 4+ years on rotating equipment & control systems (pumps, compressors, turbines).
• Hands-on experience supporting 100+ field service interventions.
• Proficiency with control systems hardware/software (diagnostics, PLC/HMI, calibration tools, VFD).
• Knowledge of API, OSHA, ISO standards and safety compliance in field work.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Sundyne rotating equipment and control systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to rotating machinery (pumps, compressors, turbines) and related control hardware/software.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement solutions meeting customer requirements and standards.
• Conduct detailed training sessions for customers and internal teams on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements during all field activities.
• Domestic and international travel of up to 60% is required.
