Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a senior field service engineer to ensure rotating equipment and control systems operate at peak performance for customers, with travel up to 60% and strict safety standards. • Hands-on experience supporting 100+ field service interventions.
• Proficiency with control systems hardware/software (diagnostics, PLC/HMI, calibration tools, VFD).
• Knowledge of API, OSHA, ISO standards and safety compliance in field work.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• Minimum of 6+ years of proven field service engineering experience, including at least 4+ years focused on rotating equipment and control systems (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines), preferably Sundyne products.
• Strong technical expertise in rotating machinery, with hands‑on experience supporting 100+ field service interventions involving troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning activities.
• Proficiency with control systems hardware and software related to rotating equipment, including diagnostics, calibration tools, PLC/HMI troubleshooting, and VFD systems with 3+ years of applied use.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations (API, OSHA, ISO) with 100% compliance experience in field service operations and safety‑critical environments.

WE VALUE

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience working in industrial sectors such as oil and gas, chemical processing, or power generation, supporting large-scale rotating equipment systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills demonstrated through participation in 10+ root cause failure analyses (RCFA) or structured troubleshooting events.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic field environments, successfully managing 3-5 concurrent field assignments or projects.
• Familiarity with digital diagnostic tools and software platforms used in rotating equipment maintenance and control systems, with 2+ years of hands‑on use in predictive maintenance or condition monitoring systems.
