Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Field Service Representative for the Manassas, VA area to support customers across the power system lifecycle, including startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

You will manage small projects, lead teams on larger efforts, generate service reports, and provide recommendations to improve electrical systems. Travel is 25% and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems; or 7+ years with trade school alternative
• Experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems
• US work authorization without sponsorship
• Relocation not offered; 50‑mile radius consideration; DOT/driver requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Support customers across the power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies
• Manage small projects independently and lead FSR teams on larger projects
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties
• Provide recommendations for improved electrical systems
• Cultivate relationships with customers, team members, and partners
• Mentor less experienced technicians
• Utilize digital tools for remote work (laptops, iPads, IR cameras, Google Glasses, MS Teams)
