Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Field Service Representative in Maryland to support customers across the power system lifecycle, from startup to emergencies. You will manage projects, mentor technicians, and deliver service reports to drive performance.

Role requires field travel, scheduling flexibility, and driving an Eaton vehicle. Strong problem solving, teamwork, and safety compliance are essential; DOT qualifications may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher with 3+ years of experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems, or completion of accredited trade school with 7+ years in the field.
• Experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain DOT qualification if required.

Responsibilities

• Support customers across the power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies
• Manage small projects independently and lead FSR teams on larger projects
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties
• Provide recommendations for improved electrical systems
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, team members, and partners
• Mentor less experienced technicians
• Utilize digital tools for remote work (laptops, iPads, IR cameras, Google Glasses, MS Teams, etc.)
