Job summary

Nordson PPS is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide on-site support for polymer processing systems. You will install, start up, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance across customer locations.

Training customers on safe operation and maintaining detailed service records are essential. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and identify upgrade opportunities, while traveling up to 75% domestically

Qualifications

Associate degree or two-year technical degree in mechanical or electrical fields preferred.
Five or more years of field service or related experience in plastics extrusion or process equipment.
Experience with Nordson PPS equipment preferred; proficiency with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for Nordson PPS equipment.
Train customer personnel on safe operation, startup, shutdown, and best practices.
Complete service reports, document installations and field actions, and follow up with customers.
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Aftermarket teams to resolve issues.
