Job summary

Nordson PPS, a global leader in Polymer Processing Systems, seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site technical support across customer locations worldwide. You will install, start up, commission, troubleshoot, repair, train customers, and document service activities, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Spare Parts, and Service teams.

The role requires 75% travel, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work safely in industrial

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in mechanical/electrical fields.
5+ years of field service in plastics extrusion or related processing.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Travel domestically and internationally to serve as Nordson’s primary technical representative at customer sites.
Provide installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for Nordson PPS equipment.
Train customer personnel on safe operation, startup, shutdown, and best practices.
Complete service reports documenting work performed, equipment condition, and follow-up items.
Document installed base data, feedback, and performance in the CRM/service management system.
