Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Senior Service Technician to provide on-site installation, service, and maintenance of packaging machinery. You will train operators and maintenance staff while working closely with service management, engineering and sales to deliver reliable, safe equipment support.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, electrical troubleshooting ability, and a proactive approach to safety. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80-85% is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical experience of more than 10 years.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides installation and service of Smurfit Westrock equipment in the field.
• Manages on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery.
• Trains operators and maintenance personnel on safe use and proper care of equipment.
• Proficiently troubleshoots mechanical and electrical problems and interprets schematics.
