Job summary

GE HealthCare is a leading medical technology and digital solutions innovator hiring a Senior Field Service Engineer in Michigan. The role performs preventative maintenance on medical equipment, troubleshoots and installs equipment, and leads customer communications to ensure satisfaction.

The position requires after-hours availability and the ability to work rotating on-call schedules, including weekends. The engineer owns issues from dispatch to resolution, collaborates with regional teams,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military education or 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment.
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Technical capabilities in imaging equipment including troubleshooting, repair and installation.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance of medical equipment in a hospital or healthcare system.
• Troubleshoot, service repairs and installations of moderate complexity.
• Lead communications with customers and serve as escalation point for customer concerns, including installations.
• Own customer issues from dispatch to resolution and drive satisfaction.
• Proactively engage with team members to ensure solutions for the customer.
• Lead installations, validations, maintenance, and service repair on designated equipment.
• Support contract and on-demand revenue growth with customer knowledge and relationships.
