Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer for the Detroit/Ann Arbor/Southeastern Michigan area. The role performs on-time preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations across multiple modalities, driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.

Responsibilities include leading customer communications, owning issues to resolution, and supporting revenue growth alongside the sales team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent military education with 4 years of relevant service.
• Or high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Technical capabilities in troubleshooting, repair and installation.
• Valid Driver’s License required; ability to work after hours/on-call.
• Experience with Web applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on medical equipment with hospital systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install equipment of moderate complexity.
• Lead customer communications and act as escalation point for installations.
• Own customer issues from dispatch to resolution.
• Collaborate with sales for contract and on-demand revenue growth.
