Job summary

GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. The Senior Field Service Engineer performs on time and accurate Preventative Maintenance in one or more modalities of equipment and leads equipment installations.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and support customers while driving service excellence, owning issues from dispatch to resolution and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent military education, plus 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License and be legally authorized to work in the U.S., with no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance of medical equipment at hospital or healthcare systems.
• Troubleshoot, service repairs and installations of moderate complexity.
• Lead communications with customers and act as escalation point for concerns, including installations.
• Own customer issues from dispatch or identification of issue to resolution and follow up.
