GE HealthCare in Michigan is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medical equipment across multiple modalities in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area. You will lead installations, troubleshooting, and customer communications to ensure service excellence and uptime.

Responsibilities include executing timely maintenance, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and supporting on-call coverage while complying with hospital protocols and safety

Formación

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent military education with 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment.
• Or high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience in medical equipment service.
• Technical capabilities for troubleshooting, repair and installation; valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance of medical equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
• Troubleshoot, service repairs and installations of moderate complexity.
• Lead communications with customers and act as escalation point for issues including installations.
• Own customer issues from dispatch to resolution and ensure timely follow up.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure appropriate solutions for the customer.
• Lead installations, validations, maintenance, and service repair on designated equipment.
• Support contract and on-demand revenue growth with customer knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure clear documentation and debriefing with metrics.
