Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences in the Bay Area and San Diego seeks a Field Service Engineer III to install, repair, and maintain life science automation equipment at customer sites. You’ll work under supervision and interact with customers to ensure service excellence and SLA adherence.

The role requires an AS degree or technical certificate, 5+ years of related experience (military training accepted), strong electrical and mechanical skills, and fluent English communication.

Qualifications

• AS degree or technical certificate or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience or military technical training.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, repair, diagnose, and maintain equipment and systems at customer sites.
• Interface with customers to ensure SLA compliance and satisfaction.
• Submit service reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Conduct safety and preventive maintenance per policies.
• Support with data collection, performance summaries, and root cause analysis.
• Occasionally assist with sample migrations and travel across the Western US.
