Job summary

Promega Corporation is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance on Promega instrumentation. You will provide advanced support, develop service documents, and train service personnel across global sites.

The role requires domestic and international travel up to 80%, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to translate R&D/Manufacturing docs into field service manuals and bulletins.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a scientific or engineering field, or equivalent experience or education.
• Minimum of 4 years of instrument service or field instrument service experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 80% of the time.
• Requires ability to comply with hospital and lab requirements for entry.
• Ability to maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and internet.
• Fluent in English and strong verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform service activities for Promega instrumentation including installation, training, repairs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate reports and customer records in the CRM Database per service procedures.
• Identify, analyze, and repair instrument issues with focus on first-time resolution.
• Order and replace instrumentation parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and productivity standards.
