Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance is seeking a Senior Field Service Specialist for on-site work at customer facilities, primarily in EV-related electrical systems. The role involves testing, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs of electrical apparatus, with duties including troubleshooting, reporting, and safety compliance.

Candidates should have extensive experience with substation equipment, transformer/cable testing, and the ability to lead field projects.

Qualifications

Requires strong knowledge of electrical test procedures and safety practices.
Experience in substation testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Familiar with NETA, NFPA 70E, OSHA compliance standards.
Ability to lead tasks and coordinate field projects.
Willingness to relocate within 60 miles of regional office.

Responsibilities

Execute mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment used in transmission, distribution, and generation at customer facilities.
Read and interpret manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean substation components.
Plan and participate in safety meetings and training.
Support management in planning, scheduling, execution, and cost management of field projects.
