Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance is seeking a Senior Field Service Specialist - EV to perform complex electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs at customer facilities in Brighton, MI.

The role requires leadership in transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to manage field projects and reporting. Travel and occasional on-call work are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED with preferred Electrical/Electronic Technology degree.
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or military experience is preferred.
• NETA/70E/OSHA familiarity and strong diagnostic abilities are required.
• Must be able to obtain NETA level III or IV within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment used in power transmission, distribution and generation at customer facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean components in substations; lead transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing.
• Plan, participate in safety meetings and training; support management in field project planning, scheduling and cost management.
