Job summary

ZincFive, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer IV to support Battery Cabinet systems and UPS product lines, delivering superior service and rapid issue resolution. The role combines start-up, installation, debug, and testing with extensive travel to client sites in the U.S.

and abroad. The candidate will train technicians and service personnel, generate KPIs for the department, and report to the Director of Global Service Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent experience in related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Battery/Battery Management System and UPS in the Data Center Market.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience around high voltage equipment in industrial environments.
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, AC/DC analyzers, DMMs.
• Ability to travel and manage travel expenses and schedule.
• Experience training technicians, customers, and third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform Battery Cabinet installation, start-up, conditioning, commissioning, debugging and testing at client locations.
• Troubleshoot and analyze product issues via email, phone, or on-site.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Production to resolve issues.
• Generate, track and report KPIs for the department.
• Provide technical service and support to internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct training on Battery Cabinet systems for Service personnel, customers, and 3rd party providers.
