Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, PDUs, and battery systems. You will establish and maintain rapport with customers, co-workers, and sales reps while supporting products for the Edge market segment.

Travel is required, and responsibilities include on-site service, documentation, and ensuring safety compliance. Preference for ASEET/AMEET or related credentials with a background in electrical/electronic test equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical service role or field service environment.
• Preferred ASEET/AMEET or progress toward certification.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field or 0-2 years industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies and procedures.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines.
• Maintain safety compliance and PPE usage.
