Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our Customer Technical Services team in the United States. You will manage and resolve technical issues for PW2000/PW4000/GP7000 engines, ensuring safety and reliable operation, while reducing maintenance burdens for customers.

You will coordinate with engineering and program teams, customers, and overhaul facilities, owning technical communications and supporting field service plans. Domestic and international travel ~5% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of related engineering experience, or an Advanced degree with 3 years of related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage urgent requests and coordinate timely technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance for on-wing and off-wing troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Develop and execute field service plans with CIPT Engineering for hardware changes.
• Interact with airline customers, MROs, and engine overhaul facilities.
• Prepare technical data and maintenance documentation to support activities.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure accurate engine inspection data.
• Support PSCV, airframer teams, and product safety discussions.
