Job summary

Emerson in Houston seeks an experienced field service engineer to support on-site installation and commissioning of control systems. You will train customer personnel, document procedures, and evaluate products through tests and field feedback.

The role requires 5+ years of customer-facing installation experience, strong engineering knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 90% to sites across the region. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of related experience engaging with customers for installation of control systems, loading application software, loading, installing and maintaining network equipment.
• Be able to travel up to 90% of the time.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

• Create complete and timely reports on all activities with emphasis on defining problems encountered and services.
