Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician for the Reno area. This remote role from a home office requires daily travel to customer sites, some overnight stays, and a company vehicle is provided.

Relocation assistance is available within 60 miles of Reno, NV. The role involves on-site support for emergency repairs, start-up services and preventative maintenance on UPS systems, batteries and power distribution, ensuring uptime for mission-critical

Qualifications

• Two years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Current, unrestricted driver's license with clean motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to travel daily to customer sites and on extended trips as needed.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of a world-class service organization.
• Provide on-site emergency repairs, start-up services and preventive maintenance.
• Support from 24-hour Customer, Technical and Factory Support.
• Participate in annual safety audits and compliance programs.
• Travel to customer sites with company-provided vehicle and tools.
