Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician in the Reno, NV area. This remote role requires daily travel to customer sites with occasional overnight stays and a company-provided vehicle.

You will perform emergency repairs, start-up services, preventative maintenance, and field mentoring while leveraging OSHA/NFPA training. Relocation is available for candidates outside 60 miles of Reno.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Willingness to travel daily and occasionally overnight within the USA.
• Background checks and drug screenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for emergency repairs, start-up and preventative maintenance.
• Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot power systems and batteries.
• Work with field technicians and on-site leads to resolve issues.
• Support customers with safety training and compliance programs.
