Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician based in the greater Northern Las Vegas, NV area. This remote position involves home-office work with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays; a company vehicle is provided.

The role focuses on on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services and preventative maintenance to ensure uptime in mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of Power Systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including coursework/internship.
• Current, unrestricted driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record; subject to checks.
• Willingness to travel daily to customer sites and periodic out-of-region trips (3 weeks/quarter).
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of a world-class service organization.
• Receive OSHA and NFPA 70E electrical safety training before on-site work.
• Support 24-hour Customer, Technical and Factory Support.
• Perform on-site emergency repairs, start-up services and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with safety audits and regulations.
