Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Senior Outside Sales Representative to grow new prospects and maintain relationships with existing customers in Tucson, AZ. Role involves visiting customer sites, promoting products, and meeting sales targets.

You will handle complex accounts, manage records, and participate in trade shows and trainings; extensive travel is required, including overnights. A four-year degree is preferred and significant sales experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years sales experience required; 6+ years preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.
• Negotiation skills.
• Ability to learn the business and work independently to achieve goals.
• Extensive travel required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products to more complex accounts in assigned territory in compliance with pricing policies.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report potential claims.
• Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions.
• Carry out sales and merchandise programs; recommend new items for stock.
• Maintain current customer records, files, and reports of transactions; assist in collection of past due accounts.
• Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings.
• Demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
