Job Description

The Senior Field Sales Executive is a quota-carrying team member responsible for selling a set of CS offerings to customer stakeholders within their book of accounts. This role involves driving new sales to new customers and cross-selling to existing customers. The executive works directly with customers to understand their needs, recommend relevant CS products, communicate their value, and facilitate all deal activities (pricing, quotes, contracts, etc.). They collaborate with Technical Sales, Customer Success, and Sales Support to pursue and close deals, and are accountable for achieving quotas, following processes, and maintaining customer relationships.

Remote Role Details

This is a USA-Remote position reporting to the Director, Financial Services Sales, under the Vice President, Financial Services. It is part of BU – FCC | CS | Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, Inc.

Required Job Qualifications
  • Approximately 20% travel required.
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of meeting/exceeding targets.
  • Experience selling into the Financial Services industry.
  • Industry experience and contacts in the specialty lending sector.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM.
  • Strong relationship-building interpersonal skills.
  • Experience cross-selling across platforms with support from sales teams.
  • Consultative selling skills to recommend suitable products.
  • Negotiation skills for complex purchasing processes.
  • Persistent and goal-oriented with proactive outbound sales efforts.
  • Effective communication in face-to-face and virtual environments with senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of lead-to-order processes in lending or compliance industries.
  • Ability to work with Technical Sales, Customer Success, and Sales Support teams.
  • Quick learner of new CS offerings.
  • Highly organized, managing multiple priorities across accounts.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Analytical skills for data analysis and trend identification.
  • Knowledge of financial services or lending workflows.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, or specialized product environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop account understanding and plans to meet customer needs.
  • Manage relationships and act as a trusted advisor for senior stakeholders.
  • Apply consultative knowledge of CS products to meet customer needs, collaborating with Technical Sales.
  • Prioritize and respond to inbound leads and customer requests.
  • Use SFDC data and team collaboration to pursue cross-sell and new business opportunities, supporting renewals and upsells.
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipelines.
  • Articulate value propositions of CS offerings and collaborate with product teams for technical insights.
  • Follow sales methodologies to configure, price, quote, negotiate, and close contracts.
  • Meet individual sales quotas.
  • Share customer insights to inform product roadmaps.
  • Work with internal teams to identify and close opportunities for Compliance Solutions.
  • Support escalated customer issues as needed.
  • Build industry-specific knowledge on trends, regulations, and associations.
