Job Description

The Senior Field Sales Executive is a quota-carrying team member responsible for selling a set of CS offerings to customer stakeholders within their book of accounts. The role involves driving new sales at new customers and cross-selling at existing ones. Responsibilities include working directly with customers to understand their needs, identifying relevant CS products, communicating their value, and managing all deal activities (pricing, quotes, contracts). The Senior Field Sales Executive will collaborate with Technical Sales, Customer Success, and Sales Support to identify, pursue, and close deals. They are accountable for achieving quotas, following policies, and maintaining customer relationships.

Remote Role Details

This is a USA-based remote role reporting to the Director, Financial Services Sales, under the leadership of the Vice President, Financial Services. It is part of BU – FCC | CS | Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, Inc.

Required Job Qualifications (minimum)
  • Travel requirement approximately 20%
  • 7 years’ direct B2B sales experience with a proven track record
  • Experience selling into the Financial Services industry
  • Industry contacts and experience in the specialty lending sector
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience cross-selling across platforms with support from other sales teams
  • Consultative selling approach
  • Negotiation skills and ability to navigate complex purchasing processes
  • Persistence and proactive outbound sales efforts
  • Effective communication in face-to-face and virtual environments with senior stakeholders
  • Understanding of lead-to-order process within lending or compliance industries
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams including Technical Sales, Customer Success, and Legal
  • Quick learner of new CS offerings
  • Goal-oriented and organized with multiple priorities
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Analytical skills for data analysis and trend identification
  • Knowledge of financial services or lending workflows
  • Experience in high-growth or specialized product environments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop understanding of client needs and create account plans
  • Manage relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of CS products to meet customer needs
  • Prioritize and respond to inbound leads and requests
  • Use SFDC data and team collaboration to identify and close opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline
  • Articulate value propositions and collaborate with product teams
  • Follow sales methodology and close contracts
  • Achieve individual quotas
  • Share customer insights to inform product development
  • Work with internal teams to pursue and close opportunities
  • Support escalated customer issues as needed
  • Develop industry-specific knowledge and relationships
