Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Field Sales Engineer to support a major hyperscale data center client. This senior sales role requires strong technical acumen and relationship management in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field sales and applications experience, or related experience in interconnect/electromechanical components.
• Proven experience in technical sales, field applications engineering, or business development in connector, semiconductor, or related hardware industry.
• Ability to carry out technical conversations with engineering teams; connector background is a plus but not required.
• Fast-paced, customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building and account management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner to a major hyperscale data center customer, managing relationships and driving design-in wins.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and provide interconnect solutions.
• Partner with internal teams (Product Management, Engineering, and Operations) to ensure seamless delivery and support for the customer.
• Identify growth opportunities, build account strategies, and execute on revenue targets.
• Represent Amphenol in technical and commercial discussions, ensuring alignment between customer needs and internal capabilities.
