Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join our Data Center Sales Team in Santa Clara, CA. As the technical lead on the sales cycle, you will provide product marketing support, prepare materials and presentations, and help solve complex interconnect problems for Tier 1 OEM customers.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, 5+ years of technical sales support experience, and proficiency with modeling tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years providing product marketing and sales technical support to produce design wins.
• Experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle.
• Provide technical marketing support for the development and implementation of Amphenol products.
• Prepare materials and participate in product presentations.
• Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and technical inquiries.
• Help devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors.
• Meet and exceed strategic objectives.
• Some travel will be required.
