Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm delivering engineering solutions for data centers and large-scale construction. We seek a seasoned Director of Sales to build and run a field sales organization, drive new engagements, and expand existing accounts across target verticals in buildings market.

The role partners with CGO, Marketing, and Technical Leadership to identify opportunities, convert pursuits, and accelerate growth. Preference may be given to candidates in AZ, WA, or TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 10+ years leading field sales organizations in the AEC market.
• 5+ years in a leadership role with team, budget, and ops responsibility.
• Proven player-coach leader who handles a pipeline and a team.
• Strong network in the AEC industry with opportunities from connections.
• Experience selling technical/professional services into long-cycle deals.
• Comfort with credibility of licensure and engineering rigor in sales.

Responsibilities

• Own the field sales pipeline and lead a team with a shared quota.
• Coach, train, and develop team members; manage performance.
• Recruit, onboard, and scale field sales talent.
• Report pipeline health, win rates, and forecast accuracy to executives.
• Define territory coverage, quota structure, and comp design with CGO.
• Close strategic accounts and manage full lifecycle from new logo to renewal.
• Collaborate with marketing, pursuit, and technical teams to win deals.
• Maintain executive relationships with clients and partners.
