Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer Field to join our large projects team in Dallas, TX. This role supports the Project Manager in planning and daily execution of landmark construction projects in the DFW market.

The SPE Field will help manage project schedules, submittals, materials delivery, and subcontractor coordination, while ensuring safety and quality on site. This position involves zero overnight travel and is centered in the Dallas market.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of construction management experience preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong scheduling and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• The SPE Field assists the Project Manager with planning and daily execution of construction projects.
• Manages the submittal log and coordinates submissions and drawings with subcontractors and the Superintendent.
• Acts as on-site quality manager for assigned trades, verifying deliveries meet submittal requirements.
• Supports preconstruction with bid package development and constructability reviews.
• Engages in meetings with Architect/Engineer and owner representatives, providing updates and progress reports.
• Promotes safety, schedule adherence, and cost control across the project.
