Job summary

SMT-Inc is seeking a Senior Field Project Manager to own field execution end to end for critical power distribution equipment. You will plan commissioning, turnover, and annual service campaigns across multi-site fleets, while coordinating third-party technicians and site facilities teams.

In this customer-facing role you will build strong relationships with facilities managers and engineers, drive service renewals and expansions, and help shape standards and vendor compliance infrastructure for

Qualifications

• 10+ years in field service, commissioning, or project management in electrical power
• At least 5 years on low/medium voltage power protection equipment in commercial/industrial environments
• Plan and execute multi-site field programs with scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management
• Working knowledge of electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and submittals
• Experience with electrical test methods (insulation resistance, contact resistance, primary/secondary injection, power quality)
• Ability to credibly interact with technicians and customer leadership
• Valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain
• Ability to pass customer background checks and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute commissioning and field execution for RPP, PDU, and STS installations
• Coordinate with contractors, electricians, commissioning authorities, and customer facilities teams
• Own on-site technical authority: punch list closure, root-cause analysis, escalation to engineering
• Scope, price, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance campaigns across distributed fleets
• Manage campaign budget, labor forecasting, parts logistics, and schedule adherence
• Oversee third-party vendors: onboarding, qualification, compliance, and audits
• Author and maintain commissioning procedures and service bulletins
• Develop service revenue through renewals and expansions, site walks, and proposals input
