Job summary

Siemens Mobility in the United States seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead Electrification & Automation initiatives. You’ll drive project initiation through closeout, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing scope, schedule, and budget from Wendell or remote locations.

Ideal candidates bring PMP, 5+ years in power distribution, and strong communication skills to deliver multi-product MV solutions. Up to 20% travel and a hybrid work preference in NC are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
• 5+ years of experience in the power distribution industry managing medium voltage portfolios.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Project.
• 3+ years working with multi-disciplinary teams including program management, services, engineering, operations, and logistics.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• PMP certification.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion.
• Manage cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of projects.
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules.
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics and services.
• Provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO on plans and status.
• Identify problems and allocate resources or adjust contracts as needed.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Manage customer expectations across project cycles for medium voltage solutions.
